No other company understands on-wall speakers quite like Artison. They use very high quality components typically reserved for audiophile quality 2-channel speakers in an ingenious package. Using dual adjustable tweeters, each speaker can be wired as a pair, allowing for a front left/right and center in just two speakers.

Artison Masterpiece, Portrait, and LRS, speaker cones are made from KEVLAR® Woven Fiber. Kevlar is one of the most important man-made organic fibers ever developed. It is five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis, at the same time, is lightweight, and flexible. Kevlar brand fiber has become the technology of choice for bullet-resistant vests and state of the art audio cones in more expensive loudspeaker systems.

The superior properties found in Kevlar have produced significant advantages in speaker design and accuracy. Artison's Kevlar speaker cone is specially shaped to have a trumpet-like curvature (Curvilinear) that improves strength as well as the dispersion, or sound stage, of the speaker. The "pole piece" in the middle of the driver is uniquely designed in such a way as to improve the spread or dispersion of sound it reproduces. The cone is terminated into a butyl surround to reduce standing waves on the cone and the Xmax of the midrange is an impressive 6mm.
